ExternXP Host Days and Hours:
- Experience Hours: 20
- Available Monday through Friday between the hours from 9-4.
During this externship, students will gain firsthand exposure to the day-to-day operations of a professional IT services company. Activities may include:
- Shadowing IT technicians during remote client site visits
- Assisting with basic helpdesk tasks and ticketing systems
- Learning how to install and configure computer hardware and software
- Observing network troubleshooting and system diagnostics
- Gaining insight into customer service in a technical environment
This externship is ideal for students who want to:
- Explore careers in Information Technology
- Learn how technology is used in real-world business environments
- Students who enjoy solving problems and thinking critically
- Students who are tech-savvy, curious, and eager to learn hands-on

This externship is available for Livingston Parish Public School students who are currently enrolled in a CTE Internship class. Applications available through CTE Internship Teacher.
