Fit Body Boot Camp in Denham Springs Closes
In a post on social media, Fit Body Boot Camp announces after 5 years they are closing. Friday, September 30th will be their last day.
Owner Lamar Powell says “We’d like to thank everyone for your support over the past five years. While being a small business owner has its challenges it does come with some amazing blessings. One of which is the connections and friendships you make with your clients and in your community. Heather Powell set a very high standard for coaches and coaching, group fitness, and serving our fitness clients. There is no doubt the continued success and expansion of our Fit Body brand, barring Heather’s long-term health issues, would have been exciting to watch. Sadly, and not without a battle on her part to get back into her business it was not meant to be for us to continue in our current roles as owners. While this decision was extremely difficult to make it was the best decision for Heather and our family.
We are also proud of our coaches. We've had an amazing team of passionate individuals who have also set a high standard in this industry. We love them all and we are excited to see what the future holds for each of them. There is no doubt in my mind their success and impact will be felt in this community for years to come. I wish them all the very best.
While we are unclear about what is next for our family, we do covet your prayers. We will focus on Heather’s health because that is our priority right now. We will also continue to serve Christ Chapel because we love ministry and helping with various mission projects around the world.
Thank you again for helping make Heather’s dream an amazing reality. It has been a remarkable journey.”
