Parish President-Elect Randy Delatte announced October 19 the formation of his 'Transition Team' and committees.

Campaign Advisor Scott Wilfong will chair the group and Eileen McCarroll, Mayor of Albany, LA will serve as Co-Chair.

“The work of leading our parish began on Sunday after the election,” said Delatte. “Our campaign was always about giving a voice back to the people and our transition team is focused on doing just that.

 

"We will be ready January 8 to go to work and serve our parish and it’s people,” Delatte added.

The group will have a headquarters from to which to operate at 112 Hummel Street in Denham Springs. Other team members and committee organization will be released in the coming days

Wilfong noted that the 'Transition Team' plans to meet regularly and will call for an independent audit of parish finances as well as making recommendations for how the parish can function more efficiently and better serve the public.

Wilfong owns Capital Business Services, which is listed as a consulting firm for elected and government officials. 

The committees will include:

  • Finance
  • Drainage
  • Infrastructure
  • Outreach and Advancement
  • Leadership
